Equity adviser, product and sales
David Bosomworth
Equity adviser to Misia on product strategy and sales. Forty years in technology, twenty in cyber security, and the buyer's view of the budget.
David has spent 40 years in technology, the last 20 with a heavy focus on cyber security. He knows what it takes to protect a business, and what it costs to run one.
He spent ten years at IBM, finishing as worldwide business leader for its threat intelligence software. He then became CISO at Segen, where he set the long-term cyber strategy and built the team to deliver it. At Oakley Capital, as IT Director, he ran IT and cyber strategy across the firm. Today he works as a fractional IT Director for investment firms.
At Misia he is an equity adviser on product strategy and sales. He brings the buyer’s view. He has been the one signing off the technology budget and explaining what it delivered. That is the problem Misia solves. Most firms pay for AI licences nobody uses, and run expensive models on simple tasks. Misia shows where the money goes, so firms can get it back.
David holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick. Away from work, you will find him on the golf course.
