Sem Ozyurt

Sem is an entrepreneur and consultant, and co-founder of the Ozria Group: Ozria Consulting, Ozria PM and Misia. He works with boards and executive teams on two questions: what to do about AI, and where the business goes next.

One belief runs through all his work. When AI fails to deliver, the technology is rarely the problem. The problem is whether the organisation is ready to adopt it.

Through Ozria PM, Sem advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on AI and transformation. He helps them decide what is worth adopting, what it is really worth, and what must change in the business before it pays back.

At Ozria Consulting, he shapes which services the firm offers and how they are delivered. That includes using automation to take routine work out of finance teams without taking out the judgement, because the work that looks repetitive is often where problems get caught.

In December 2025 he founded Misia with Michaela Riaz, and he is its chief executive. The company is built on the same belief: get the organisation right, and the value from AI follows.
